Why my group is not approved?

As you consider whether you'd like to create and manage a group our suggestion is to think about the things that you are most passionate about and interested in, as it's likely that there are other members who also care about the same things and could benefit greatly from a group to share experiences and bond around a common interest (or geography).

Before you create a group please be aware that a group without proper description and motto will not be approved. Also if another group with same motto or interest exists, we will not approve the new group. Look for other groups that may have been started that are similar.

How do you I remove a friend

Go to your friend’ page. You will see a link “Remove as Friend” . Click on it to remove him/her from your friends list

Why am I not able to able to ask more people to be my friends?

it's likely that you have too many outstanding friend requests. You'll have to withdraw some of your outstanding friend requests before you can invite new people to be your friends.

How do I withdraw a friend request?

Click on "My Friends" (Right side of Mykasaragod)

Click on the "Requests Sent" tab in the

You will see a list of people you've sent friend requests to.

Click the "Withdraw" button next to the person you no longer want to invite to be your friend.

The friend request will no longer be active.

How will I upload photos?

The easiest way to add photos to your social network is to with the bulk media uploader. Using the bulk media uploader, you can add up to 100 photos at a time. The following formats are supported: .jpg, .png, and .gif.

To upload photos, go to the Photos tab and click the "Add Photos" link. Then, just click the "Click to Add Photos" icon to select which images you'd like to upload from your computer. If you want to select multiple photos at a time, just hold down the "Control" or "Command" key on your keyboard and click the extra photos. Photos you've chosen to upload will display as a list on your social network.

After you add one batch, you can add even more photos to the list with the "Add More" link, and remove some using the "X" link to the right of each photo. Once you're ready to upload, click the "Upload" button.

Once you’ve uploaded your photos, you’ll be able to create a new album for them or assign your photos to an existing album you’ve created. To add a Title, Description, and Tags for each photo, you can click the "Add more details for these photos" link. When you're done, click "Save" if you've added more information. You can also click "My Photos" to immediately start browsing your newly uploaded photos.

If you're experiencing issues with the bulk uploader, you can always use the simple uploader by clicking the "simple uploader" link at the bottom of the page.

How will I update my profile photo

To change your profile photo on, first sign in. Then click the "Settings" link in the upper right corner of the page:

Now click on the photo icon next to "Profile Photo." A small window will pop open. Click the "Browse" button under "Upload a photo from your computer." Locate an image on your computer and click "Done." When you upload a new photo, the old one will be deleted.

How do I delete a photo?

To delete a photo, go to that photo's detail page. Below the photo you'll find a "Delete Photo" link.

How do I create a photo album?

You can create a photo album that includes any of the photos on the social network, even those you didn't upload. To create an album, head to the Photos tab and click the "All Albums" page.

Next, click the link to "Add an Album" in the right corner of the page. On the album creation page, you can select whether you want to choose from just your photos or from everyone's photos on the social network. You can also choose from only photos with a specific tag.

The photos matching your search options will appear in the left page below. Drag the photos you want to be in your album to the right pane. Give your album a title and a description, and add an album cover. 

Click "Save" and admire your new album!

How will I add videos?

To upload videos, go to the Videos tab and click the "Add Videos" link. Then, just click the "Click to Add Videos" icon to select which videos you'd like to upload from your computer. If you want to select multiple videos at a time, just hold down the "Control" or "Command" key on your keyboard and click the extra videos. Videos you've chosen to upload will display as a list on your social network.

How will I add videos from You tube?

You can also add videos from other services, including YouTube, Hulu and Vimeo, by embedding them. From the "Add Videos" page, scroll to the bottom of the page and locate the section that says "Add videos from YouTube, Hulu, or Vimeo." Click the logos or the "... or embed videos from other services" link.

Next, copy the HTML embed code from the YouTube, Hulu, Vimeo, or another video sharing service that you'd like to add to your social network, and paste it into the box.

What formats of videos can I upload?

We support .mov, .mpg, .avi, .3gp and .wmv video formats.

How will I add someone as friend

To send a friend request to someone on koottam, go to their profile page. Click the "Add as friend" link under their profile photo. A confirmation window will pop up. If you'd like to add a note to your friend request, click the "Add a personal message" link. Some people don't feel comfortable accepting friend requests from people they don't know, so this is a great way to let them know how you might know each other or why you'd like to be friends.
